The method of ranching that's presented in this article is for individuals and groups who are dedicated to the following endeavors:

1. preserving our country's rangeland ranching heritage, culture and pastoral way of life, and doing so for the benefit of present and future generations
   
   
2. focusing attention on breeding, raising, and marketing superior-quality, range-adapted breeding stock and superior-quality, range-aged grassfed beef
   
   
3. using diversification as an important tool for improving ranch income
   
   
4. pursuing long-term prosperity in the rangeland ranching business without degrading and eventually destroying the range's soil, water, vegetation, and wildlife resources.
